MEDICAL DEPARMENT
The school counts upon a highly qualified medical staff. Two doctors are permanently in-charge of caring for the health needs of students and the infirmary is properly equipped to offer basic and emergency services when required.
All medications are kept locked in the Medical Department and are dispensed exclusively by the school doctors.
A special procedure is required for long-term medications and the prescription should be submitted to the Doctors´office. A permission statement signed by parents must accompany medication with the student’s name and grade clearly indicated as well as the time and dose for dispensation. Please note that the parent must be responsible for advising the Medical Department of particular procedures for their child. All medication orders must be given for the treatment of a specifically diagnosed medical need and must be renewed at the beginning of each school year. Absolutely no medicine should be put in the hand of the child... nor given to teacher. All medications must be given directly to the doctors in the Medical Department. |
